Extra Terrestrial

As we reach further into the universe, will we encounter alien life, or are we ourselves the alien presence poised to visit distant worlds? 

Extra Terrestrial delves into the profound questions surrounding humanity’s role in the exploration of the cosmos. Will we, as organic beings, be the ones to continue venturing into the stars, or will we one day accept our limitations and entrust this monumental journey to our creations—cyborgs or advanced AI? In doing so, the project examines whether exploration itself must remain a uniquely human endeavour or if our legacy is destined to evolve into something post-human.

Through an array of symbolic imagery, the project juxtaposes the fragility of human explorers with the cold resilience of machines; the organic with the synthetic - the familiar with the alien.
